Weddings

No matter what style of wedding you are planning - large traditional, intimate, casual home wedding, short & simple, beach wedding, an elopement or if you are overseas visitors - you can still have the wedding of your dreams. A lot of planning goes in to making your wedding day perfect and the ceremony should not let you down so to assist you in creating a ceremony that reflects your feelings, I will loan you a 'Ceremony Planning Guide' which has samples of vows, ring vows, poems and readings etc. I will work with you to create a ceremony that makes your day a truly unique and magical experience.

What is included in the fee? Unlimited consultations, loan of a ceremony planning guide, official marriage certificate, on-line registration of marriage, covered signing table/chair*, red carpet*, copy of ceremony, rehearsal, travel within 50kms of my office, PA system* with CD/MP3 player & music if required. * Conditions - A 3.6 metre red carpet is included in Option 1 (weather permitting), a signing lectern or small table is available for option 3, a small PA system is available for option 3 if over 20 guests.

The Packages

Option 1 - 'Deluxe Package' $495 - This package is ideal for couples who want a ceremony customised to reflect their own love story. It can include poems and readings, rituals from your heritage, a rose ceremony, unity sand ceremony, unity candle ceremony, Celtic Hand-fasting, Scottish Hand-fasting or ancient Scottish rituals This option also includes a 3.6 metre red carpet, signing table & chair, PA system with CD/MP3 player and music if required. This ceremony can take 20 - 45 minutes depending on the extra ceremonies included.

Option 2 - 'Short 'n' Sweet Package' Weekdays $400 - This is perfect for couples who want a simple, no fuss ceremony; have been married before; have been together for a while; or are having/had a religious blessing. There are no poems or readings in this option and you have a choice of eight small ceremonies with additional vows and ring vows etc. This option is available on weekdays only at any location of your choice within the Sydney area. This option includes a signing table/chair and PA system with CD/MP3 player and music if required. A normal ceremony takes up to 15 minutes including signing of the certificates. Due to popular demand this option is now available on weekends - fee $460

Option 3 - 'Quickie Package' Weekdays $337 - Weekends $430 Do you just want to get married as quickly as possible? Are you eloping? Did you have a religious ceremony in your own country but need to legalise it? Are you coming from overseas to be married in Sydney? Did you answer yes to any of these questions? Well, to legalise your union you can choose to go to the Registry Office at Births, Deaths & Marriages, exchange the legal vows and sign the marriage certificate. Boring!

The other and better option is to hire me! My fees for this service are the same as the Registry Office, but you can have the ceremony at your home or anywhere in the Sydney Metropolitan area (within 40kms of my office) between 9am - 7pm Monday to Sunday. You can just say the legal requirements (vows) if you like, or you can choose from a selection of extra vows and ring vows. A normal ceremony takes about 10 minutes including signing the declarations and certificates. Please note: this is a simple ceremony, there are no readings, poems or extras included in the fee. Included in the fee is a signing lectern or small table/chair and a PA system (no music) if over 20 guests.

NB: At least 3 days notice is required to change the date for Option 3 wedding package. If the date is changed more than twice, a surcharge of $50 is payable.
