What style of wedding are you planning: large, traditional, small, casual, home, beach, romantic or an elopement? Perhaps you have been married before or just want a simple, no-fuss wedding as you are having a larger ceremony with your family in your own country. Regardless of the size or style, you can still have the wedding of your dreams.

A lot of planning goes in to making your wedding day perfect and the ceremony should not let you down. At our first meeting, after the booking deposit has been paid, I will loan you a Wedding Guide which has samples of vows, ring vows, poems and readings. The Wedding Guide is to assist you in creating a ceremony that reflects your feelings. I will work with you to create a ceremony that makes your day a truly unique and magical experience.

To ensure that all your family and friends can hear the ceremony, I have a state of the art PA system (if over 20 guests). I can also supply a covered signing table, chair and a red carpet for that grand entrance. All couples receive a copy of the ceremony printed in a booklet format in a presentation folder.

What else? Don't you just hate those scrappy bits of paper that friends and family pull out of their pockets for the readings? Well I do, so all poems and readings are printed on an attractive card which the reader can keep as a memento of the day.

But wait - there's more! Sorry no steak knives!  If you are stressed, I will make you a bottle of Bach Rescue Remedy for those pre-wedding nerves!

How Much?  Not all couples have the same requirements so I have several options available to suit all budgets. Please feel free to contact me to discuss the options.

Booking Deposits - A non-refundable deposit of $200 confirms your booking and the balance is due no later than two weeks prior to the ceremony.

Extra Costs - Candles, sand, rose petals etc are normally supplied by the couple, however, I can provide simple unity candles, coloured sand and jars for a nominal fee. Hand-fasting ribbons are free of charge. Additional costs apply for long distance travel, inner city parking fees, national park entry fees,  early morning ceremonies (before 9am) or unusual venues where extended time is involved. Red carpet is $50 extra for option 2.

The only other extra cost to you is $44 to Births, Deaths & Marriages for a registered copy of your marriage certificate. This is required for the bride to change her name on all legal documents e.g. drivers licence, passport. Overseas couples require a registered copy as well. Option 1 - Deluxe Wedding $490

This option is ideal for couples who want a ceremony customised to reflect their own love story, or would like rituals from their heritage included. I have a great variety of poems, readings, religious blessings, and benedictions available. There are many extra touches that can be added to make your ceremony more special e.g. rose ceremony, sand ceremony, candle ceremony, or an angel blessing. Or for those who have a Celtic background, a traditional Hand-fasting or a shortened version can be added to a more contemporary ceremony. If you have a Scottish background perhaps you might like to add a few of the old traditional rituals such as; a Hand-fasting over a destiny stone, pinning of the clan tartan or drinking from a Quaich.

A normal ceremony can take from 25 - 45 minutes including signing the certificates.

Option 2 - Short 'n' Sweet Wedding $400

The Short 'n' Sweet package is perfect for couples who want to get married with no fuss, have been married before, have been together for a while, or don't want any readings, poems.  This option is available on weekdays only at any location of your choice within the Sydney area. A normal ceremony takes up to 15 - 20 minutes including signing of the certificates. Please contact me if you require this option on a weekend.

Option 3 - Quickie Wedding

What options are there for couples who just want to get married with no fuss, are eloping, or for overseas visitors who want to get married in our beautiful city? Well, one option is to go to the Registry Office at Births, Deaths & Marriages, exchange the legal vows and sign the marriage certificate. The legal vows are: "I call upon the people/persons here present to witness that I (full name) take you/thee (full name) to be my lawful wedded wife/husband."  Boring!

The other and better option is to hire me! My fees for this service are the same as the Registry office, but you can be married at home or anywhere in the Sydney metropolitan area (within 35kms of my office) between 9am -6pm Monday to Sunday. You can just say the legal requirements (vows) if you like or you can choose from seven very small ceremonies. A normal ceremony takes about 10 minutes including signing the declarations and certificates.  There are no readings or poems in this option - the ceremonies are simple but nice and include ring vows.

Fees:  Monday to Friday; $330  - Saturday & Sunday; $420

Most councils don't charge a fee for small groups so please contact me if you need help in choosing a venue for your ceremony, or my home/balcony is available for up to 6 people.
